Pork dumplings for $7 served with a spicy Thai sauce – they taste even better than they look. These are located in the “Snack Things” section of the menu. With a fresh taste from the dumplings, and the spice from the sauce, the perfect combo is made.

Sweet soy tuna bowl for $18. This bowl includes chilled marinated tuna, grilled avocado, cucumbers & carrots, and jasmine rice. The thinly sliced veggies, make me want to eat them. I am not a fan of carrots, so the fact that I finished the carrots on the plates was a shock. Not only were the cucumbers & carrots delicious with a hint of a vinegar taste, but also refreshing. Even the tuna by itself was delicious, tasteful, and fresh. When I ate the tuna with the avocado, the taste of freshness heightened. There was a ginger sauce in the avocado which added a kick to the avocado. And the rice added on to the tuna as a perfect match.

Their dessert menu made it super difficult to choose one. This is their warm skillet cookie for $7. It comes with a chocolate chip cookie made fresh, topped with chocolate ganache and vanilla bean ice cream. The chocolate chip cookie was piping hot to the point of the ice cream melting at a fast rate. It was the perfect mix of sweetness with the warmth of the cookie and coolness of the vanilla ice cream.

Must try restaurant! Friendly service, and the restaurant itself is bright with an ambiance to it.

The Met Bar & Grill

Located in Natick, MA.

This is their Korean Chicken Lettuce Wrap appetizer for $12. It comes with chili cucumbers, pickled onion, hoisin sauce, gochujang, cilantro, and crispy rice noodles. Honestly, this was my favorite part of the meal. Filled with taste, and the crunch coming from the wrap. The hoisin sauce definitely added a little kick that I loved.
This is their Manhattan – The Works burger located under the Continental burger bar. It comes with Swiss cheese, bacon, sautéed onions, and mushrooms. I didn’t enjoy the mushroom part of this burger, but then again I don’t normally like mushrooms. Another disappointing factor was the fact I asked for medium well but it tasted like it was well done. The burger was a little dry. But the fries were delicious!

Their Met brownie sundae for $8 disappointed me even more. It comes with vanilla ice cream, chocolate chunk brownie, Boston’s Famous Bailey’s hot fudge, and whipped cream. I did not enjoy this sundae at all. The cherries were frozen, and the whipped cream was way too heavy, I like my whipped cream to be fluffy.. actually whipped. The brownie tasted like it was heated up in a microwave. And the only good part was the ice cream. The presentation of the sundae could’ve been much better, too.

JnJ Turo-Turo

Located in Quincy, MA. Only open Friday-Sunday.

An order of sisig for $7.99 with some rice. Not the best sisig I’ve tried, but it was good. There was a tiny hint of spice to the dish which I enjoyed, just because it enhanced the flavor. In their sisig, they use grilled & chopped pork, pork’s ears, and liver seasoned with onions, hot peppers, ginger, and lemon juice. Every bit was crispy and that’s the part I love.
This being the only Filipino restaurant in the area, I fell in love. They even had the Filipino channel playing.

Pizzi Farm – Market, Deli & Ice Cream Shoppe

Located in Waltham, MA.

A small coffee oreo ice cream that hit the perfect spot for $4.50. The ice cream was a little too heavy to me, so I couldn’t even finish it. It was a good flavor though. The coffee flavor had just the right amount of strength in it… and the oreos emphasized that flavor.
It’s a cute place to bring friends! Outdoors, with a cute market filled with things such as salsa, queso, pastries, etc.

Ziti olio and garlic. So simple. I finished my whole plate because it the tomatoes tasted fresh and the taste was a wonderful explosion. It probably would’ve been better with spaghetti but I loved it either way. They put just enough sauce to spread in an even proportion on the pasta which helped with the taste.
Yes, I just had to get a cannoli for dessert. The filling was a little too intense, I kept feeling like I needed water. But the taste was there, and just right. I liked the crunchy combination from the shell that correspesponded with the filling. Truly delicious and it satisfied my craving.
A little bit more of a classy restaurant, they take their time with service and you do not feel rushed. I highly recommend!
